Terms of Use
These are the terms for using Elvy's website and the Elvy app. By using them you accept these terms. Last updated: September 2026.
General
About these terms
These terms of use apply to your use of Elvy's website and the Elvy app. By visiting the website or using the app you accept the terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use them.
The terms may be updated. The version published here applies at any given time.
The service
The website and our offer
The website is informational and lets you read about Elvy's energy subscription and submit an expression of interest. An expression of interest is not binding and does not mean an agreement has been entered into. The app is described in the next section.
A subscription is entered into only through a separate agreement with its own subscription terms, which you receive before you commit. Details, prices and calculations on the website are estimates and may change.
The app
Using the Elvy app
Anyone can download the Elvy app. If you are a customer, the app shows your subscription. If you are not, you get the referral part.
You log in with your phone number and a one-time code we send by text. You are responsible for your phone and for keeping the code away from other people.
The figures in the app are calculated estimates, such as the energy allowance and the potential value of your referrals. Your agreement and your invoice are what count.
We keep developing the app and may change or remove features. The app needs a phone running an operating system we support, and we make no promise that it is always available.
The app is downloaded from the Apple or Google app store. They are separate companies with their own terms, and those terms apply between you and them.
You can delete your account in the app.
Referrals
Terms for the referral bonus
You can refer a friend, whether or not you are a customer yourself. In the app you pick contacts from your phone book and send the text message from your own phone. A referral counts once the person you referred uses your code. The code is personally yours and does not expire.
If the referral becomes a completed installation, you receive SEK 10,000. The person you referred receives a fixed electricity price for 15 years. No installation means no bonus. There is no upper limit on how many referrals you can earn a bonus for.
The bonus is paid once the installation is complete and approved, as soon as we can, to the bank details you entered under your profile in the app. We pay out the full amount with nothing deducted. The bonus is income, and you declare it yourself to the Swedish Tax Agency.
Only refer people you know and who have agreed to be contacted by us. Referrals of yourself or someone in your own household earn no bonus.
The leaderboard in the app shows nicknames and amounts, not names.
We may change or end the referral programme. A bonus you have already earned is not affected.
Your responsibility
When you use the website and the app
You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide, for example in an expression of interest, are correct and that you are entitled to provide them.

We are not liable for damage arising from the use of the website or the app, to the extent permitted by law. This does not limit your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
