Delete account
You can delete your Elvy app account at any time. Here is how to do it, what is removed and what we keep. Last updated: September 2026.
How to
Delete the account in the app
Open the Elvy app and go to the Profile tab. At the bottom you will find Delete account. Confirm in the dialog that appears.
Deletion happens straight away. You are signed out and the account no longer exists in the app.
Without the app
If you have already uninstalled the app
You do not need to reinstall the app to have your account deleted. Contact our customer service with the phone number you used in the app and we will delete the account for you.
Mentioning that your request is about deleting an app account helps us handle it faster.
What is removed
Data that is deleted
Your app account and the link between your phone number and the app. Anything you entered in the app yourself, such as your name, address and the bank account used for payouts. The username shown on the leaderboard, and your personal referral code.
The contacts you picked in order to refer someone are deleted too, along with any pending sign-in code and the app's event log for your number.
Invitations that never led anywhere are removed entirely. If you referred someone who did not become a customer, nothing of that invitation remains.
What we keep
Data that remains
Where a referral resulted in a payout, we keep the record that the payout was made, because we have to be able to account for it. Your phone number is removed from that record.
Your electricity contract and the data belonging to it are not affected. Deleting the app account is not the same as terminating the contract. If you want to end your subscription, contact us separately.
If you change your mind
Signing in again
You can sign in again with the same phone number whenever you like. A new app account is created automatically and linked to your existing contract, so your electricity and home data are there again.
What does not come back is what belonged to the deleted account: the bank account you entered, your username and referral code will be new, and past referrals and payouts no longer appear in the app. Referral links you had already sent out stop working.
