How being an Elvy subcontractor works

As an Elvy subcontractor you get finished installation jobs and get paid per job, with no warranty cases afterward. Here is how the partnership works.

As an Elvy subcontractor you get finished installation jobs and get paid per job, with no warranty cases afterward. Elvy sells the subscription and owns the customer for fifteen years. You mount the system, invoice us, and take the next job. Here is how the partnership works in practice.

What do you need to start?

The credentials have to be in place for what you mount: an authorised electrical installer for the electrical work, F-gas certification for heat pumps, Säker Vatten and plumbing authorisation for the water-based systems, hot-work certification where needed, and the manufacturers' certifications for the brands you fit. Everyone needs Swedish F-tax and liability insurance. We check before the first job, not after.

Who owns the customer and the warranty?

We do. The homeowner's contract is with Elvy, and service and support run through us for fifteen years. You hand over a finished system and invoice us as a subcontractor. If a fault comes down to the mounting, we take that up with you per the agreement, like any professional partnership.

How and when do you get paid?

Per job, at an agreed price, by us. You never have to wonder whether the homeowner pays on time, because the homeowner is not the one paying you. Installers who keep the standard get more jobs, not fewer.
