Elvy has rolled out its energy subscription in hundreds of Swedish households and expects to turn over around 300 million kronor this year alone.

The company is now hard at work borrowing 5 billion kronor to keep expanding, according to information given to Di.

The energy subscription bundles a heat pump, solar panels and a battery into a fixed monthly cost – Elvy owns and operates the equipment, so the homeowner avoids both the upfront investment and the hassle.

“it has moved at a furious pace.”
