Energy challenger Elvy raises SEK 5.5 billion
Tech company Elvy wants to solve Sweden's energy crisis. With SEK 5.5 billion secured, Elvy and finance company Scayl will make it easier than ever for homeowners to make the switch to modern energy systems — and to lead the way for Swedish innovation in the energy infrastructure of the future.

Elvy's energy subscription — a heat pump, a solar installation and batteries — is now available across the whole country. Homeowners avoid investing hundreds of thousands of kronor in equipment, yet get the peace of mind of covering their household's heating and energy needs for a fixed monthly cost. Behind the scenes, the energy solutions are run by Elvy's own AI, which optimises the energy generated and consumed in the home.
“it's less about the technology and more about what homeowners actually want - peace of mind. our customers want heat, hot water and reasonable energy costs. it shouldn't take big investments, or having to become an energy expert, to optimise the energy you use.”
The financing facility was developed by the Swedish finance company Scayl and one of its banking partners.
